Hi!!!!!!!!!!! :) 

   My name is Amber Alysia Madsen. I'm a freshman at Northome High School, which is in Northern Minnesota- pretty close to Canada. I have three brothers, and two amazing parents who are there for me 24/7 and have always encouraged me to always follow my heart. I love swimming and playing djembes [which are drums from New Guinea :] I also play volleyball & I do cheerleading. Green & Purple are my favorite colors. Whenever I am bored, I lovee to cook all sorts of food..especially homemade Reese's bars. Yum. :D I'm a really energetic person, and I love making new friends. I smile all-the-time, and I love to make people laugh.

   I live on a small farm in the middle of the woods, with a bunch of chickens, goats, pigs, ra

bbits, and a miniature pony. I have always loved animals. I used to barrel race, key pole, and do other types of gaming with my horse named Shenna, who passed away three years ago. I have a a dog named Nike :) I love him to peices. He's half chihuahua, half King Charles Cavalier (He's called a Cavachi). His picture is up next to mine.

   I cannot tell you how excited I am to go on this mission trip! Going to Africa, has been something I've been wanting to do since I was six years old. I've always had a heart for the people there & I absolutley can't wait for this expirience. I absolutelyy cannot wait until the day I am standing in Kenya, bringing people to Chirst. :) I also can't wait to meet everyone who is going on this mission! Everytime I think about this mission trip, I get soooooo excited! I've been a christian, for as long as I can remember :) When I was in kindergarten, I remember sitting in my room writing songs about how much God loves us; and then I would go to my parents and sing the songs I just wrote to them. I have always enjoyed spreading the word of the Lord. I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to be all the way in Africa, to do what God has truly called me to do! :)
