"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper, not harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future". -Jeremiah 29:11

 

   With that verse, we are assured that God is taking care of us. All we have to do is to trust completely in Him. As the excitement and anticipation of the trip welling up inside of me, its hard NOT to expect things to be a certain way. But I discovered that when I anticipate circumstances, housing, ministry, etc., they have to turn out exactly the way I want or I will be disapointed. I'm also trying not to "expect" God to do anything. He has shown me too many times that when I expect something of Him, its kind of like putting Him in a box. He can do what He wants the way He wants when He wants to. With that said, I'm super excited for the trip, but I'm working toward leaving all the details up to God. :-)
