my name is Garrett Stephenson, I am 17
and live in Port Orchard Washington. I am currently doing
running start at Olympic College. Before joining that program
however, I was homeschooled throughout my entire education. One
of my favorite things in the world to do is to play soccer. Any
time I can find to play soccer is awesome! I am also involved
with track and field in which I do short distance sprints 100m or
200m. Another one of my favorite things to do is play the
trumpet. I am in a band that plays music from both the movie
theme genre and from Jazz. I also play my trumpet in cantatas
that my church puts on for Christmas and Easter. I live in a
family of 11, (6 boys-3girls+mom/dad)their ages range from 2-19.
Living in a big family has been awesome! I really enjoy
spending time with my younger siblings. I believe God has prepared me for working with kids. I have never been on
a mission trip before or even off the North American continent, so I
am very excited to be traveling all the way to Kenya! I cant
wait to see all that God is planning for us to see and experience
during this trip!
