I found out about AIM and I began to learn so much about various places. I asked my parents about possibly going on the trip, and they were very reluctant about me going to such a far away place for such a long time. I have never been more than about 3 states away from home, much less across the ocean! So as I was leaning more towards Kenya, I gave them so much information about the trip, hoping to convince them to let me sign up. I figured that if I was meant to go, God would settle their minds and allow me to. God is amazing, because before I knew it, I was signing up for the trip!

My mind has been blown away by all of the help and support spiritually and financially that I have received from all different people in my life. I cannot even explain how thankful I am to have the most wonderful people supporting me. 

Just like all of you, I am extremely excited for this trip, it is unexplainable! I imagine being there with all of you every day, and if if was up to me, I would have left yesterday =]

So to answer the question, I think what really called me to the mission field was Gods intentions for my life. Learning everything about different countries, cultures, and the want to grow outside of my comfort zone. The want to experience life to the fullest while making a difference in others lives made me have the desire to go into the mission field. I am so glad that this is what God has in store for my life, and I cant wait to get going! ;]
