I’m Jennifer, but I go by Jen, and I’m a born and raised Georgia girl. I’m 17 years old and I’m currently in the last few weeks of my junior year. I hope to go to UGA for college and major in pre-med, and then become a surgeon. I LOVE animals and kids, I’m a really nurturing person, I’m a huge sports fan (especially college football), I’m super outgoing, I love meeting new people, there is very little that scares me, and I am a total and complete adrenaline junkie. There are four of us in my family: my little sister Hannah, me, and my mom and dad. I grew up in a small town, and I’ve known Jesus almost all of my life. I love my church and I love volunteering there, mainly with ministering to kids. I have dreamt of going to Africa for sooo long and I plan on living in South Africa for a few years after I finish college. I know God wants me to go on this trip, and I am so excited to be going. I have been on two mission trips before, one to the Dominican Republic (its on the same island as Haiti) and one to Estonia (a small country in North Eastern Europe). Both of these mission trips have changed my life, but this trip is a dream come true for me. I cannot wait to be standing in Kenya; I know it will change my life. I can’t wait to meet everybody!
