Hi!

I first of want to take the time to ask for your forgiveness. I was responsible of coming up with the question of the week last week and did not make the time to do so. I would like to apologize for my irresponsibility.

So here is a couple of questions for you to think about and respond to.

A more serious question:
1. how do you feel about the importance of team unity?

A not so serious question:
2. What would you add to a S’more to make it SUPER DELICIOUS?! (for those of you who don’t know what a s’more is, it’s a delicious combination of melted marshmellow with Hershey’s chocolate between two graham crackers……..DELICIOUS)

Just a reminder I will be calling all the LADIES this week to see how you are doing so expect me!

  1. 1. Considering that unity between christians was the very thing that Jesus prayed for when He was in the garden before His death, I’d say that its super important.

    2. PEANUT BUTTER.

I can’t WAIT for you to call. I actually really need to talk to you.

  2. 1. Unity is one of the most important aspects of this trip. Being part of the team, each one has a responsibility and a wonderful quality about them that make up one. Without one, the team can fall. When I cheered, if someone backed out in a build, everything would crumble.. and I also agree with Hannah, uniting Christians is one of the specifics Jesus prayed for.

    2. Peanut Butter OR a kit kat… I don’t know why, but i could totally see that working

😀 Can’t wait to talk to you Esther! I’m so excited!!!!!

  3. 1. team unity is incredibly imprortant especially on a trip like this. i know that we are all going to need eachother for support and if we are not bound together then we will fall apart and not be able to witness as effectively. i expect us to be like family 🙂

    2. i like the kit kat idea, it sounds good.

    3. can i bring marshmellows to africa?

  4. 1. Team unity is vital. We all need to help each other, and even beyond that God gave us each spiritual gifts to serve him with. If there was only one person with one gift, only one type of ministry could be reached. But because God thinks of everything, he knew we needed fellowship and the help of each other.

    2. I acutally don’t like chocolate that much. (Except Reeces, I love those..but that’s about it). Call me weird, but I think that bananas would be good on it. I have no idea why. Or maybe gummy bears! Either of those.

  5. 1. Team unity is a very important aspect of this trip because we will all grow into a tight knit family throughout this experience. Like taylor said, every individual is important in a journey like this, and without the full attention and help of one person, the team will not hold up. In our lives, we all need people to rely on and support us whether it be friends or family, and on this trip our team will be both. I really think that this team is a perfect match to eachother, and I love it =]

    2. Since peanut butter is my obsession, I was thinking peanut butter right before I read any of the answers! But I really think that a smore with dark chocolate and peanut butter would be amazing.

  6. Ahh speaking of team unity, I came across this verse that I thought fit PERFECTLY!

    Matthew 8:20
“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
