Hello,
I have been struggling support raising and I am sure that some of you are at that same place as well.
What is Faith my friends? It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things NOT seen.I want to encourage those for you specifically who are struggling to raise your support on time…. DON'T GIVE UP! The Lord has put us ALL on THIS team for a reason and I refuse to believe that it was just for some of us to have the oppertunity to meet for a few hours or for all of us to hang out on the internet! That is just something i will NOT accept. I want to encourage you that He who BEGAN a good work in you WILL COMPLETE it. If the Lord provided half of our support, heck if He only provided a dollar..will He not provide the rest. "For I know the plans I havefor you declares the Lord, to prosper you and not to harm you."
He spoke to me this morning that faith is not just about wanting something and hoping that the Lord will provide, it's about knowing that against alll odds. If you know that the Lord called youto Kenya and you didn't have enough support what would you do? would you give up or would you expect God to intervene and go anyway expectanly waiting to see what He would do. It amazes me how we as believers go where Godtells us to until we see some sort or struggle or in most cases nothing at all, then we give up because we say to ourselves "If the Lord REALLY wanted me to do this, He would have provided by now." not knowing that had we had just taken one more step, we would have had complete VICTORY! My friends don't look at your present situation wether it be finances or fear or the unknown or life in general stop you from fufilling this destiny! Just take one step at a time. 2Corinthians 10:3-5
We as ateam, as a body need to come together as one and be united. There is so much beauty in having a body of different believers come together for one common pourpose…God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. ……Delicious! Ecc 4:9-12
Stay His course and keep His faith friends…He is the only way
To the Kenya team: I know for a fact that this comes from a woman of great faith. I’ve known Esther to persevere and trust in the most outrageous situations and I’ve seen the Lord come through for her every time. That’s what He does! So, as we pray for all that we need for this trip (and all other things!) don’t forget to do so with the full knowledge that our God is right here with us and that He’s able to do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine” (Eph. 3:20)
