Hello Everyone!!! My name is Caitlin Mignon Emerson. I am a senior at Lake Dallas High School in Lake Dallas, TX. I am so excited to graduate this year but even more excited about this trip to Kenya!!! I have been accepted to Baylor University and plan to major in biology and ultamately I hope to become a pediatric neurosurgeon. I am a member at Lake Cities United Methodist Church and have grown up there the majority of my life. I am very active in my youth group and love every single person there. I have done missions every summer since my seventh grade year, but I have never been out of the country. My heart is truly in missions and I would love to be a missionary the rest of my life if I could. I have wanted to go to Africa since I was a freshman in high school and finally after hassling my youth director forever he lead me to AIM. I believe I am fun and outgoing and I enjoy meeting new people :) I love sports but don't play any anymore. My favorite sport is baseball although I have learned to love soccer since most everyone in my youth plays. I can't wait to meet all of you guys and share what I know is going to be an amazing experience!
