Hello πŸ™‚
My name is Julie King, I am currently 16 and a sophomore at Klein Collins, born and raised in Houston, Texas! I am in choir at my school and I love to sing! I am kind of learning how to play guitar, but I wouldn’t say I’m good at it or anything. I also enjoy taking pictures and doing photography, so you can expect this entire trip to be documented! My life consists of family, friends, school, and church. I have two siblings, Hilary and Andrew, both older and in college, and we’re are very close! I am pretty much at my church 24-7, and am madly in love with everyone there. I am willing to do just about anything to help people, and I have a big heart for people who need help, in anyway. Oh my goodness, I cannot contain my excitement for going to Kenya! Whenever I think about it, I get even more excited! I went on a mission trip to Matamoros, Mexico last summer and it was completely life changing. God has given me a real heart for Kenya this summer and I can’t wait to find out what’s in store! I can tell God is going to absolutely mind-blowing things on this trip. He is already doing so many amazing things around us, I can’t even imagine what it will be like in Africa πŸ˜€ I am so pumped to meet all of you! You can add me on Facebook, I absolutely love meeting new people πŸ™‚

  5. Hey Julie! It sounds like you’re ready to go. I don’t blame you. It’s going to be such a great summer. When you were in Mexico last summer what all did you do? I spent a few summers in Ensenanda, Mexico in high school and fell in love with the country.
    Anyway, excited to meet you!
