Hey guys!!      My name is Taylor Black and I am 17 years old. I live in Alabaster, Alabama right outside of Birmingham. I'm a senior at Evangel Christian School and am so excited about graduating right before we leave! I am the oldest and have two sisters and a brother and amazing parents.My family has been through a lot which has brought us close together. I plan on going to either Samford University or Auburn University to major in Pediatric nursing. I am honestly more excited about Kenya than I am on graduating.  I currently work at a day care and am a part time nanny so obviously I love children!! I enjoy being outdoors. Some hobbies include singing, writing, running, cheer leading, running, the list goes on. :) I have been in church since I was about 13 and I love it! It's a constant roller coaster walking with God but such an adventure.  I am outgoing and very energetic. (Wow, that sounds like a dog) but i tend to be very talkative once you get to know me.

     I am so excited about this trip to Kenya! i have been praying for about 3 years for God to provide a time for me to be able to go and here it is! This is not the first mission trip I have been on, I went to Russia for about three weeks about 3 years ago this summer. We worked with the youth in three different cities. I can't wait to get to know all of you and for us to become friends.  God is going to be doing so much this summer and it's going to be life changing. I can't wait to meet each one of you!
